Trả lờiHello Hiep, Hope all is well w/ you and your sisters. Mr. Tin Van Nguyen, Gen. Nguyen Van Hieu's brother gave me your name and how to contact you. A while back, I was looking for contact info for your father so i googled his name and it led me to his obituary which also mentioned that your mother also passed away. Pls accept my very belated condolences. Not sure if you remember me, i'm the oldest daughter of Trung Tuong Vinh-Loc and my brother's name is Bao-Can. My mother (Ngo Bich Duyen) and grandmother used to visit your parents, you and your sisters in Saigon. About six years ago at age 44, i learned indirectly that i was adopted. However, no one in the family will disclose the identity of my natural parents. I was wondering if you and your sisters may have overheard your parents mentioned something about my being adopted and the names of my natural parent(s). Trả lờiDear Huong-Can, I definitely remember you as a young and vibrant little girl with the happiest laugh whenever I teasingly called you "Banh Cuon". I did not know that you were adopted and I would never suspect so. I remember seeing the love that Ba and Bac Duyen had for you. I believe that in their eyes, you were and always would be their daughter and granddaughter, a member of the royal Nguyen-Phuc lineage. I understand your need to know and I hope that you'd find what you seek. Please do not make your search a life-long mission and forget that the late General and Bac Duyen were real parents who had loved you very much.
